Hello World!

Well, it compiled. So — hello, and welcome.

A quick disclaimer

This is a test post. Nothing groundbreaking happens here — just a paragraph, a section title, an image, and a block of code doing its best. Think of it as the blog clearing its throat before actually saying something.

A little about where I'm at

Somewhere between this paragraph and the image below, I thought I'd sneak in something real instead of lorem ipsum — because lorem ipsum is, objectively, the most boring thing on the internet.

Right now I'm one subject away from finishing my Mechatronics Engineering degree — and that one subject is my final project. I've been working on it for about six months, and it turns out that the hardest part of engineering school isn't the engineering: it's the paperwork.

The project itself, though, I genuinely love. I designed and simulated a 6-DOF manipulator robot — six degrees of freedom, meaning it can move the way a human arm does (roughly). The work covered inverse kinematics, workspace analysis, task simulation, and a lot of late-night debugging. Everything was built in MATLAB first, then integrated into ROS 2 (Robot Operating System) — a framework I fell for so hard that I'm already planning to build a career around it.
